Designed for Inquiring Young Minds
The Consortium was created by a group of public school districts committed to providing intellectually superior, highly motivated students the opportunity to take advanced courses with students of similar abilities.
The curriculum is designed to focus on developing more complex thinking such as analysis, creativity, evaluation, and presenting subject matter earlier and in a different manner. Other objectives are the development of self-concept, social interaction with peers with similar abilities, and applying learning to project or product. The intent of the Consortium is to maximize gifted students’ intellectual and emotional potential.
Unfortunately, some students will have to be turned away in order to maintain the integrity of our small student to teacher ratio.
